
Initiated on 24th June 1971 and commissioned for commercial production in January 1975 , Kandla is one of the oldest IFFCO plant and also a centre of innovation - R & D Laboratory, at IFFCO Kandla, has taken up the work for development of various new fertilisers.
IFFCO Kandla is also an ISO 14001:2004/ OHSAS 18001:2007/ISO 9001:2015 Certified Organisation with an established Environmental Management System / Health and Safety Management System /Quality Management System
IFFCO's Kandla plant is located on the western bank of Kandla creek adjacent to Kandla Port Trust Jetties.
